Carbon monoxide is slightly lighter than air and mixes readily with air. For optimal detection, place the detector:
- In or near sleeping areas and living areas.
- On a wall, at least 5 feet (1.5 meters) from the floor, or on the ceiling.
- At least 15 feet (4.5 meters) away from fuel-burning appliances to avoid false alarms from normal combustion byproducts.
- Avoid placing in direct sunlight, near vents, fans, or in extremely dusty, dirty, or greasy areas.
- Suitable for use in residential environments such as bedrooms, kitchens, garages, and attics. Ideal for enclosed spaces like hotels, RVs, and tents when traveling.

5.2 Монтаж детектора

To enable mobile app alerts and remote monitoring, you need to pair the detector with the Tuya or Smart Life app.

6.3 Alarm Conditions and Actions

- The LED light on the detector will flash.
- If paired, the mobile app will promptly notify you of the alarm, even if you are not at home.
