4.1. Floor Jack Preparation

Purge Air (Bleeding): Before first use, or if the jack has been stored for a long time, it may be necessary to purge air from the hydraulic system.

5.1. Lifting a Vehicle with the Floor Jack

Підготувати транспортний засіб: Park the vehicle on a hard, level surface. Engage the parking brake and place the transmission in "Park" (automatic) or a low gear (manual). Chock the wheels that will remain on the ground.
Position Jack: Locate the vehicle manufacturer's recommended lifting point. Position the floor jack so its saddle is directly under this point. Ensure the load will be centered on the saddle.
Raise Vehicle: Turn the release valve clockwise until it is firmly closed. Pump the jack handle up and down to raise the vehicle to the desired height. Do not raise the vehicle higher than necessary.
Insert Jack Stands: Once the vehicle is lifted, immediately place jack stands under the vehicle's frame or other manufacturer-specified support points, adjacent to the jack. Adjust the jack stands to the appropriate height, ensuring the ratchet bar is fully engaged.
Lower onto Jack Stands: Slowly turn the release valve counter-clockwise to gradually lower the vehicle onto the jack stands. Ensure the vehicle is securely seated on both jack stands before removing the floor jack.

The fluid level should be just below the filler hole. If low, add high-quality hydraulic jack oil. Do not use brake fluid or motor oil.
