1. Вступ

Thank you for choosing the Perel Electronic Safe, model BG90017. This safe is designed to protect your important documents and valuable possessions against theft. It features a secure digital keypad for access and an emergency key for manual override. The safe's interior is carpeted to prevent scratches to delicate items, and it includes mounting hardware for secure installation in your home or office.

Please read this manual carefully before operating the safe to ensure proper use and to maximize its security features.

4. Налаштування

4.1. Встановлення батареї

1. Знайдіть батарейний відсік на внутрішній стороні дверцят сейфа.
2. Відкрийте кришку акумулятора.
3. Вставте 4 нові лужні батарейки типу АА, дотримуючись правильної полярності (+/-).

4.2. Встановлення вашого персонального коду

The safe comes with a factory default code (usually '159' or '1234'). It is crucial to change this immediately.

1. Відкривши дверцята сейфа, натисніть червону кнопку скидання, розташовану на внутрішній стороні дверцят, біля петлі. Сейф подасть звуковий сигнал, а на клавіатурі засвітиться жовтий індикатор.
2. Within 5 seconds, enter your new 3 to 8 digit personal code on the keypad.
3. Press the 'A' or '#' button to confirm your new code. The safe will beep again, and the yellow light will turn off, indicating the code has been successfully set.
4. Test your new code with the door open to ensure it works correctly before closing the safe.

4.3. Монтаж сейфа

For enhanced security, it is highly recommended to securely fix the safe to a wall or floor using the provided mounting bolts.

1. Choose a suitable location for mounting, such as inside a cabinet, closet, or directly to a wall or floor.
2. Відкрийте дверцята сейфа та знайдіть попередньо просвердлені монтажні отвори на задній або нижній частині сейфа.
3. Позначте точки свердління на стіні або підлозі через отвори.
4. Drill pilot holes at the marked locations using an appropriate drill bit for your surface (e.g., masonry bit for concrete/brick, wood bit for studs).
5. Align the safe with the drilled holes and insert the mounting bolts through the safe and into the wall/floor.
6. Tighten the bolts securely to firmly anchor the safe.

The included mounting bolts allow for secure installation of the safe to a wall or inside a cabinet, significantly increasing its security against unauthorized removal.

5.1. Opening the Safe with Your Digital Code

3. If the code is correct, the green indicator light will illuminate, and you will hear a beep.

5.2. Opening the Safe with the Emergency Key

The emergency key provides manual access to the safe in case of forgotten code, dead batteries, or electronic malfunction.

1. Знайдіть аварійний отвір для замка, зазвичай прихований за невеликою кришкою на панелі клавіатури.
2. Зняти кришку.

4. While holding the key turned, rotate the main knob clockwise to open the safe door.
5. Once open, remove the emergency key and replace the cover.

5.3. Закриття сейфа

1. Щільно зачиніть дверцята сейфа.
2. Turn the knob counter-clockwise to engage the locking bolts. The safe is now locked.

6. Технічне обслуговування

6.1. Заміна батареї

When the red indicator light flashes or the safe emits continuous beeps during operation, it indicates low battery power. Replace all 4 AA batteries immediately following the instructions in Section 4.1.

6.2. прибирання
