Removing the Shield
- Open the shield all the way to its fully raised position.
- Locate the base plate on each side of the helmet that holds the shield in place.
- Pull back on the base plate lever while simultaneously pulling the shield out and away from the helmet. This action will release the shield from the base plate.
- Repeat this procedure on the other side of the helmet to completely remove the shield.
