6.1. ANENG ST184 Clamp Multimeter Battery Installation

The ST184 requires 2*AAA 1.5V batteries (not included). To install:

To power on the ST184, long press the SEL button. The device will automatically enter auto-ranging mode.

7.1.1. Automatic Range

The ST184 features auto-identification of measurement and auto-range recognition. Simply turn on the device, and it will automatically detect the type of measurement and adjust the range.

7.1.11. Zero Fire Line Identification

Adjust the gear to NCV. Insert one test lead into the hole of the outlet. If the screen displays "EF" and emits a beep with a red LED flash, it is the fire line. If there is no beep, it is the zero line.

7.1.12. Flashlight/Backlight

Long press the NCV/⚡ button to turn on the flashlight. Long press the H/✪ button to turn on the screen backlight. This allows for clear readings in dark environments.

7.2. ANENG BT173 Battery Tester

The BT173 provides dual display of battery level and voltage, capable of measuring a variety of batteries.

7.2.1. Battery Level Detection

Insert the battery into the appropriate detection interface on the BT173. The device will automatically display the battery voltage and a battery bar indicator.

• D Battery: Insert into the 1.5V D slot. Positive and negative electrodes correspond to the battery. The current battery level is sufficient if the bar is full.
• C Battery: Insert into the 1.5V C slot. Positive and negative electrodes correspond to the battery. The current battery level is sufficient if the bar is full.

• 26650 Lithium Battery: Insert into the 3.7V 26650 slot. Current electricity is fully charged if the bar is full.
