1. Assemble the Game Board: Place the game board in the center of the playing area. Ensure the 4 cardboard wheels are correctly attached with the plastic rivets, allowing them to rotate freely.
2. Choose Characters: Each player selects a character pawn (Harry, Ron, Hermione, Ginny, Luna, or Neville) and places it on its designated starting space on the board.
3. Підготуйте картки загадок: Separate the Student, Object, and Location cards. Secretly select one Student card, one Object card, and one Location card, and place them into the Mystery Envelope without looking. This envelope contains the solution to the mystery.

The objective is to be the first player to correctly identify the student who disappeared, the spell or object used, and the location where it happened.

Player Turn Sequence:

1. Киньте кубики: On your turn, roll both standard dice and the Hogwarts die.

3. Enter a Room: If you land on or pass through a room entrance, you may enter that room. Once inside a room, you can make a suggestion.
4. Make a Suggestion: When in a room, you can suggest who, with what, and where the disappearance occurred. For example, "I suggest that Harry Potter used the Invisibility Cloak in the Great Hall."
5. Refuting Suggestions: The player to your left, if they hold any of the cards named in your suggestion, must secretly show you one of those cards. If they have multiple, they choose which one to show. If they have none, the next player to their left checks their cards, and so on. This helps you eliminate possibilities in your Detective Notebook.
6. Hogwarts Die Action: The Hogwarts die can trigger special events, such as revealing secret passages, opening or closing doors, or making the Dark Mark appear, which can alter the board or grant special abilities.

Once you are confident you know the solution, you can make an accusation. You must be in Dumbledore's office to do this. State your accusation (who, what, where) and then secretly check the cards in the Mystery Envelope. If your accusation is correct, you win the game! If incorrect, you are eliminated from making further accusations but continue to refute other players' suggestions.
