Install Trash Liner: Lift the lid. Place a simplehuman Code P custom fit liner (or a standard 13-gallon trash bag) around the rim of the inner bucket. Ensure the bag is fully extended and secured to prevent slippage.

Using the Step Pedal: To open the lid, simply step firmly on the steel pedal at the base of the can. The lid will open smoothly.
Silent Close Feature: When you release the pedal, the lid will close slowly and silently due to the integrated lid shox technology, preventing slamming.
